Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

  • 8 tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/3 tsp almond extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, chopped pecans, sliced almonds, cinnamon, baking powder, almond extract, and salt.

  3. Pour in the melted butter and stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture forms coarse crumbs.

  4. Spread the crumble mixture evenly across the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown and fragrant.

  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes. The crumble will crisp up more as it cools.

  7. Store in an airtight container and enjoy as a topping whenever you need a little cozy crunch ✨
