I want to talk about a specific feeling. It's the moment right before you open your bank app, or your budget, or that folder of bills you've been meaning to deal with. Your stomach tightens a little. Your brain suddenly remembers ten other things that need your attention. You tell yourself you'll do it later. I know that feeling well. This week, I sat down to build an honest finance sheet: where I am right now, where my money goes, and what I need to build a life on my own with my kids. And before I opened it, I felt exactly that tightness. If you've ever avoided your finances, I want you to hear this first: You are not bad with money. You are a human being who has been carrying a lot, and the numbers felt like one more heavy thing. That's not a character flaw. It's a very normal response, and it's one we can change. In this article, we'll look at why we avoid money, how our past shapes our present habits, what's happening in your brain, and a gentle, practical process to build a relationship with your finances that feels steady instead of scary. A quick note: I'm sharing what I'm learning and doing in my own life. I'm not a financial advisor, and this isn't financial advice. For decisions about taxes, investing, or debt, talk to a qualified professional. New videos are coming each week, so subscribe so you don’t miss them. Forever filming the little things. 🎥 Because the little things are the whole thing. Your brain holds onto moments tied to emotion, not perfection. The giggles, the mess, the Tuesday-night nothing that suddenly becomes the memory they'll bring up at 30. I'm not filming for the likes. I'm filming so that future me, and future them, can feel it all over again. So if you've been waiting for a "big enough" moment to hit record, this is your sign. Film the little things. What's one little moment you never want to forget? 👇 Done Playing Small 🔥 #DonePlayingSmall #MomLife #MindfulMotherhood #CoreMemories #LittleMoments
